I have some big news:
Starting tomorrow May 19th, I am going to be THE featured New Artist on iTunes in the USA / Canada for a week. This includes a free iTunes "Discovery Download" of my song "Right Love, Wrong Time", which is my favorite song on the album.
Our goal on the iTunes thing is to get us to 1 million free downloads, which would be a record for a new artist. All people have to do is go to iTunes or http://www.itunes.com/anuhea and download the FREE track, simple!
However I need more help spreading the word that this is going down! If there's anything you can do to let your network of music lovers know about this song, "Right Love Wrong Time" free on iTunes this week, I'd be so stoked. Whether its forwarding this message to all your colleagues, sending them a personal message, facebooking/myspacing the crap out of it...Whatever you can do, I just want as many people to be a part of making this a big deal, cause it potentially can be huge. No Hawaii artist has ever been featured on iTunes like this before, so I'm really striving for the support of my friends and family for some aloha!
Other than that, we are doing a show with Brooke Hogan at the Waterpark this Saturday, which should be interesting! Mos Def is coming to Hawaii on Thursday and I'm stoked to go watch him live... and next week Friday and Saturday I'm doing shows with AMOS LEE!!!! I'm beyond stoked on that! My best friend Mandy is getting married next Tuesday! OMG I can't believe it. My other bff Kimie just filmed some stuff for her music video, check her music out as well if you into mine... www.myspace.com/playkimie Been enjoying the company of some awesome people in my life lately, and loving life. Giving thanks every moment.
Been working out hardcore with Major Keith Dotts and his wife of the US Army! HA! They be working me hard... Here's a cpl pix from our 3 hour hike on Saturday! Was amaazingly beautiful.
I'm just finishing up editing episode 2 of "Coffee Talk"... so stay tuned! More to come, aloha always!
